The big day had arrived and everything was in place for the wedding to commence.
Victoria and Neil were having their ceremony in the barn – a popular choice, and had the aisle set up so as Victoria steps through the grand barn doors, she walked diagonally and towards the corner of the barn. The 22 piece band, Lofthouse Brass Band, was ready and waiting for the imminent entrance of the bride. (The band which I thought was a 2 piece band but found out it was actually a 22 piece only a few days before the wedding!)
The 50th Birthday party held on Friday the 21st October 2016, was a huge success for the birthday girl Kate and everyone had a brilliant time.
Kate had decorated the barn with spectacular art work she had cleverly made herself. There was a flamingo standing proud in the grounds, and not one but two life sized Betty Boops with the usual pout and assets greeting you as you entered the barn.
Today on the blog we're looking back at the wonderful wedding of Kate Long and Robert Stephenson. Luckily the rain held off as the couple tied the knot under our beautiful Lych gate, which was decorated with an array of colourful flowers, arranged by Rachel Slater at Owl House Flowers.
All photos featured are by the wonderful Kate Cooper.
